MASSAGE AND AROMATHERAPY

therapist Craig Vassie has recently gained his Advanced Diploma in
Massage and Aromatherapy During Pregnancy. Mums to be are welcome to
make an appointment for consultation and treatment.
WORK AT ABBEYFIELD
BEACONSFIELD
Following a successful
trial, we have recently started to provide a monthly visiting
Aromatherapy service for residents and staff at Bradbury House, the
Abbeyfield Beaconsfield Society care home in the old town. Some
residents are enjoying relaxing full Aromatherapy treatments, whilst
others have simple hand or foot massage with a scented Lavender and
Chamomile cream. Are you able to help us to extend this service to
other local care homes?
PAMPER DAY
South Bucks Hospice recently held a
Saturday "Pamper Day" where people could get a massage, have reflexology
treatment, or an aromatherapy treatment, in return for a donation. If
you'd like to attend a future Pamper Day, please

PEOPLE'S VOICES
Craig Vassie, from
Chiltern Aromatherapy, recently attended the People's Voices Day Services
Showcase. This all day seminar took place at the
Causeway Stadium, home of Wycombe Wanderers and London WASPS, and included
workshops and exhibitions.
Craig mounted an
exhibition on the uses of Aromatherapy, and provided Hand & Wrist massage
for a large number of the attendees. There was also a "Guess The Blend"
competition, in which participants had to correctly identify the essential
oils used in a choice of blends. There were three competition winners,
each of whom won a treatment voucher.
People's Voices is an
Amersham-based charity which provides Advocacy for the disabled. According
to Barbara Poole, Project Director, the Day Services Showcase was a great
